Rules of the Competition
- 1Participants must be aged 18 and above.
- 2Spend P150 (One Hundred and Fifty Pula) or more in any of the 82 Sefalana Cash & Carry (Pty) Ltd branches.
- 3At least three (3) items on promotion MUST be included in your purchase.
- 4Participant MUST have a registered Sefalana Rewards Card.
- 5Present your registered Sefalana Rewards Card to the cashier, who will scan it and you will automatically be entered into the competition.
- 6You will receive an SMS on your phone confirming that you have been entered into the draw.
- 7The competition starts on 07 September 2026 and ends on 03 January 2027.
- 8The Final Draw will be conducted in Gaborone on Thursday 07 January 2027, at Skyview at 11h00. The Grand Finale date will be communicated through Print Media, Radio and the Sefalana Website.
- 9The results of the competition will be made public through Print Media, Radio and Sefalana Websites.
- 10Grant Thornton Auditors will oversee the Grand Finale Draw to verify compliance and fairness.

Terms & Conditions
- The competition is organised by Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd.
- The competition will start on Monday 07 September 2026 and end on Sunday 03 January 2027. No late entries will be considered.
- The competition will run in all 82 Sefalana branches.
- By submitting an entry, you agree to these terms and conditions.
- Only residents of Botswana, aged 18 years and above may enter the competition.
- Participants MUST have a registered Sefalana Rewards Card.
- The competition is not open to any Sefalana Group employees or employees of its subsidiaries and their immediate family members.
- To enter the competition, the consumer must spend P150.00 (Pula One Hundred and Fifty) and have 3 promotional items in their basket. Participating items will vary for each promotion for the duration of the campaign; however, each advertised item on National Promotion will be a participating brand. In addition, promotion “wobblers” / tickets will be placed on the shelves indicating brands on promotion with the inscription “Buy Me & You Could Win”.
- Present your registered Sefalana Rewards Card to the cashier, who will scan it and you will be automatically entered into the competition.
- You will receive an SMS on your phone confirming that you have been entered into the draw.
- Each purchase that follows the entry requirements counts as a new entry.
- Should you return the purchase, your entry will be invalid, and you will not be eligible for the competition.
- A final draw will be conducted in Gaborone for all qualifying names collected during the duration of the competition to determine the winners. The draw will be fully automated and drawn through a “randomiser” script. The output will be a CSV file, formatted and saved as an Excel file, password protected and mailed to Sefalana.
- Grant Thornton Auditors will oversee the Grand Finale Draw to verify compliance and fairness.
- The final draw will take place on Thursday 07 January 2027, at 11h00 at Skyview, Gaborone.
- Winners may be broadcasted in the local newspapers, radio stations and Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd media platforms.
- No responsibility is accepted for entries that are late, delayed, misdirected or incomplete, or for failures due to malfunctions in communication services or for any other reason caused by events beyond the control of Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. or its partners, which may cause the competition or entries to be disrupted or corrupted.
- Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. may, at its discretion, disqualify incomplete or fraudulent entries or entries that do not comply with these rules. Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. may also disqualify an entrant if they find that the entrant has attempted to manipulate the outcome of the competition.
- Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. will attempt to contact a winner as many times as necessary via telephone and exhaust all other mediums of communication. If Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. is unable to contact the winner, or if the winner does not claim the prize within 3 months of the date of first notification, and after all reasonable efforts have been made to contact the original winner have been exhausted, the prize may be forfeited at Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd's discretion, and awarded to the next eligible winner, with the approval of The Gambling Authority.
- All prizes are non-transferable and will only be awarded to the person whose name and Omang number matches the winning entry.
- Prizes cannot be deferred nor exchanged for cash or for any other prize.
- Winners may be invited to appear on and be identified in national or regional media, including radio and television at no fee, but winners may decline such invitation. Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. may use, broadcast, or publish the names, photographs, and details of a winner unless the winner objects.
- Personal information submitted as part of this competition will only be used to notify the potential winners, for purposes related to the competition, as well as for marketing with an opt-out option.
- In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the competition and/or these terms and conditions, Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd.'s decision will be binding and final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The selection of the winners is final. No appeals or correspondences will be entered into. Only winning entries will be contacted by the organisers.
- Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the competition at any time if events or circumstances occur outside its control which makes this necessary. The Gambling Authority, Participants and all other stakeholders will be notified should this incident occur. You will have no recourse whatsoever against Sefalana Cash and Carry (Pty) Ltd. and its associated agencies and retailers in this event.
